Cow Hollow
A Neighborhood Name From Our Frontier Past

A Bit of Cow Hollow In The Distance
As seen from Pacific Heights

(Looking NorthEast)

This might not be exactly the most comprehensive view of Cow Hollow but it's a good establishing shot. With the church from Pacific Heights in the foreground, you can see the overall feel of Cow Hollow and its situation in relation to the bay. You have to squint to see that you're looking at a rolling hilltop and beyond it, is yet another neighborhood (the Marina) and beyond that, the bay. Unseen in this picture, just off the left side, is the Golden Gate Bridge. On the other side of the bay is Marin County, I think but am not sure, that the visible houses are the ritzy Tiburon part of Marin.
