GSA - Job Descriptions

General Member
(AKA Totally Awesome People)

These people shall be the regular members of the group. Members will have the responsibility of attending meetings and participating/supporting the group's events. They will also be totally awesome (as if they even need to try).

Steering Committee
(AKA The Taxi Service)

There shall be a steering committee (otherwise known as the Taxi Service) made up of general members. Kind of like a parliament type dilly-yo. The taxi service shall be a group of people who give guidance to the entire GSA. Each member of the taxi service will be in charge of facilitating the meetings on a rotating basis (or the chair(s) could do it). The taxi service members could also each take responsibility for one "event" during the year. They could be responsible for getting committee members from the general body to work on events (even as "co-chairs" of the event).

Chairs
(AKA Fearless Leaders)

Within the steering committee, there shall be one or two fearless leaders in charge of the group's external relationships with the school administration and with making sure that everyone else has the support and resources to do their job (And maybe with making sure the meetings start/end on time and getting a room to meet in). They shall also wear capes and possibly purple tights.

Poster Boy/Girl

This person shall be in charge of general meeting publicity (putting up posters, making announcements, and possibly doing dances in the hallways wearing bright and colorful clothing with a basket of fruit on their heads).

The Minute Man/Woman

This person (persons) shall be in charge of taking notes/minutes at each meeting and reading them back to people at the next meeting.

Spider Man/Woman

This person shall be in charge of keeping the web page up to date and in working order
