Trouble With A Mailing List / Online Group
Every single group email contains a link at the bottom that will take you to the help system. It will actually show you a picture of how to leave the list, or how to get on digest mode, etc. Doesn't get any easier than that.

Getting dreamworld's Free Services

How To Fail
  Skip reading this page.

What Services Are Available?
Please see the Services page to read about what services I provide.

Who Qualifies For Free Services?
dreamworld.org gives away internet services at no charge to people and organizations that are selflessly dedicated to helping in some way.

You don't have to be an IRS-registered non-profit. All you have to do is be working to contribute something positive.

For example, you could be helping the homeless, or victims of eating disorders, or GLBT teens, or the politically oppressed, or other non-profit organizations.

You could be cleaning up the environment, helping animals, or exposing injustices.

Is happy ok?
It's not all gloom. You could be doing something happy, like reuniting alumni from your high school, discussing a philosophy, giving away your beautiful photography, etc.

Who Does Not Qualify?
Gamers, fan clubs, sport sites, and the like, are projects for people who already have something. Such projects are usually not a good fit here. dreamworld is generally about giving to the less fortunate.

What should my services be like?
Your services should be either free, or non-profit. This is a must. You should not seek to benefit financially from what you do.

Your project should not take up huge amounts of disk space, or require lots of bandwidth. I have a smaller drive and a modest DSL connection.

Someone in your organization should be an adult, so they can officially sign the request.

You should be able to discuss your project plan with clarity, forethought, and purpose. It should be very clear exactly what you intend to accomplish, and how. If you cannot explain this to someone else, you don't have a good plan yet.

Your project should not discriminate. For example, if you are a Boy/Girl Scout troop, you should not ban gay leaders. If you are a church, you should not preach anti-Semitism, and so on.

These are very general guidelines.  I have few hard-and-fast rules here.  In general, if your project has something to give, or if you are a worthy cause in need, then dreamworld.org is for you.

Your Technical Skills
Someone in your organization should know how to make your web pages, and how to upload them to an FTP server. Email addresses use the standard POP3 protocol. The admin contact should be a legal adult.

Concepts about the project
Mainly, I want to see that you are serious about your project and committed about seeing it through in the long run. I want to see that you have thought things through. The who, and the how.

To meet these needs, I am asking that you please send me the answers to the questions at www.dreamworld.org/apply Why don't I provide a hyperlink? I find that people who skip reading this page, just scroll down to the bottom to look for the blue underlined text. And if they did that, their project would be denied anyway.
