West Fork Senior Activity Center

The West Fork Center is located at 222 Weber across form the Post Office. The facility is a community building and has a small park behind the center. Activities include a meal at 11:30, exercise at 10:30, and games on a daily basis. Special events include music by local bands twice a month and trips twice a month. In the past year the center has visited Devil's Den State Park, the winery at Altus, Branson Missouri, Little Debby in Gentry, Antique shops in Van Buren, The Mildred Cooper Chapel as well as other centers.

Special Activities

Monthly Blood pressure screenings, trips for flu shots, and transportation for medical appointments address the health and education needs of the participants. Specific health topics are handled by inviting guest speakers and the distribution of materials.
