Springdale Adult Day Center


The Springdale Adult Day Center provides a safe home-like atmosphere, activities, exercise, socialization, hot nutritious snacks and noon meal, and handicapped equipped transportation designed to meet the needs of functionally impaired persons over 60 years of age, while providing respite time for family members. It is licensed by the Department of Human Services and is a member of the Adult Day Care Services Association.

Regularly Scheduled Activities

Our regularly scheduled activities include morning exercise ( sitting down, with an accompanying video), arts and crafts, puzzles, dominos, cards, horse shoes, crochet, a social hour, current events, reminiscing, movies with popcorn, reading with staff, sing-a-longs, pet therapy, nature walks, and more...

Trips and Outings

We go out to eat once a month to one of the local restaurants, and take field trips to many of the local attractions. We have been to Terra Studios in Elkins, the Airplane Museum in Fayetteville, the Doctors Museum in Lincoln, the Prairie Grove Battlefield Park, Murphy Park in Springdale, Hannah's Candle Factory and various other local attractions.

Other Activities

Every participant celebrates their birthday with cake and ice cream. We observe all of the holidays, have Memorial Day and Labor Day bar-b-ques, and blood pressure checks every Wednesday. Please contact us to find out more...
